Within the Functional Airspace Blocks (FAB) scheme as mandated in SES, the BlueMed FAB is being pioneered with the participation of Italy, Greece, Cyprus and Malta as Members and Egypt, Tunisia, Albania and Jordan as observers.

In order to foster cooperation at the NSA level, a Meeting of Experts is being held today in Rome so that the participating countries may further deliberate on a common approach to the issues involved.
